Is Animals in Action suitable for young children?
Yes. Animals in Action is suitable for the whole family. At certain points, particularly when birds are flying, everyone needs to remain seated. If you’re visiting with very young children and think they may find it difficult to stay seated, we recommend choosing another activity.
What animals will we see during Animals in Action?
During Animals in Action, you’ll see owls, ravens, eagles and falcons, as well as mammals such as a genet and a ferret. The animals taking part may vary, as we adapt the activity to each animal’s needs and welfare.
Can we take part in Animals in Action?
Yes. Visitors play an important role in Animals in Action. You may help fly birds, feed some of the animals and get involved in other activities, always with guidance from the team.
Can we do more than one activity on the same day?
Yes. You can choose just one activity or combine several on the same day. Animals in Action and the Guided Tour work particularly well together: on the tour, you’ll meet the animals and hear their stories; during Animals in Action, you’ll see them up close, discover what they can do and get involved.
Do we need to book in advance?
We recommend booking before you visit, as Animals in Action doesn’t run every day and places are limited. You’ll also get a lower price when you book online. If places are still available, you can buy tickets at the ticket desk on the day.
What happens if the weather is bad?
