A wildlife rescue centre you can visit
When you visit Zoo del Pirineu, you won’t simply see wild animals. You’ll get to know them, discover why they live here and what makes each of them unique.
Some arrived injured. Others were orphaned or had become too accustomed to people to survive safely in the wild. At the rescue centre, we care for them and, whenever possible, work towards their return to the wild.
And when returning to the wild is no longer possible, they have a safe place to live here.
What can you expect from your visit?

Meet wild animals up close
Some are curious. Others are more cautious. And a few are surprisingly affectionate. Spend time close to them and you’ll soon discover that each has a personality of their own.

Discover why they are here
Accidents, electrocution, illegal wildlife trafficking, young animals raised without their parents… You’ll understand why some can return to the wild, while others need lifelong care.

Take part in Animals in Action
You won’t just watch. You’ll take part in activities that keep them physically and mentally active and bring new stimulation to their day.
Your visit helps too
Your ticket helps care for those living at the rescue centre and gives others the chance to return to the wild.
